Top 5 Wishes for E3 2016

I am super hyped for the new Zelda Wii U news on Tuesday, but I am a little disappointed that that’s almost all we’re getting for E3 this year. I know Nintendo has said that there won’t be any surprises this year at E3, but that won’t stop me from having a few pie-in-the-sky wishes of what I want to see at E3 this year.

Number 5: Paper Mario Color Splash

In at number five, I want to see some more of Paper Mario Color Splash. When the game was announced in the last direct, I went on an enormous emotional roller coaster. At first, I was ecstatic for a new Paper Mario game. The game looked great, and they really nailed the paper aesthetic. Then, the trailer went on, and it appeared to merely be Sticker Star U. I would love if Nintendo addressed this issue by giving us a ton of new information on the game. I, at the very least, would like Nintendo to assure us that there’s at least going to be experience points. Please Nintendo.

Number 4: Pokemon Gold/Silver

Nintendo previously released Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow on the 3DS eShop, so it only makes sense to give Gold and Silver the same treatment. Taking this wish a little further, I would love if we got FireRed and LeafGreen on the Wii U. Now I know the FireRed and LeafGreen idea is a little Farfetch’d (Get it?), but I think getting Gold and Silver could very well happen. I think when they released Blue, Red and Yellow, it was almost a promise to release Gold and Silver as well. It’s just a matter of when to announce it, and E3 seems to be a perfect time.

Number 3: Mariokart 8 DLC

I loved the first two sets of DLC released for Mariokart 8, so I would die for another wave of DLC. Eight new courses, two new cups, three new characters and three new karts. What’s not to love? Exactly. I rest my case.

Number 2: Chibi Robo HD

I’ve heard many fantastic things about the original Chibi Robo on the GameCube, but I never really got a chance to play the game. That’s why I would love if I could play the game in beautiful HD on my Wii U. The game looks very fun, and I really want to give it a try. They’ve even remade Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, which are both GameCube games as well, so they must know how to remake GameCube games on Wii U pretty well by now. I’m begging you Nintendo. Make it happen.

I am more than hyped for Nintendo’s next console, so any information would get me excited. I’d prefer that Nintendo just showed the console as a whole this year, but it’s obvious that’s not happening. Just give me the name at least Nintendo. If you do, I’ll never write you a bad review ever again unless the game is bad. Please Nintendo. Please. From the bottom of my heart: Please.
